Back from our holiday in France. Took a tandem and a 'solo' of course but it wasn't terribly hilly (flat actually) and the weather was mixed so didn't get as many miles in as I should have!

We've been suffering very mixed weather recently, today is very humid and quite hot.

Riding by Edgbaston Cricket ground this morning was very busy. Lots of people walking to the second test between England and the West Indies.

Quite a few cyclists around, including a rather large girl in green, quick though, I overtook her going through Cannon Hill Park and she kept catching me up as I slowed for traffic lights and traffic all the way into Digbeth.

Although the roads are less congested due to the school holidays the traffic that remains travels much quicker, I'm still not sure which condition is best!
